Fishery research trawler for Tartu University

Baltic Workboats has handed over the 15m Fishery Research Vessel „EMILI 007“ to Estonian Tartu University Marine Institute. 

This all-aluminium vessel is based on Baltic Workboats proven ice going hull.

Vessel has large working deck with hydraulic winches for trawling and four holds below main deck  for fish and fishing gear with total volume of 7 m3.

Vessel is equipped with a Fassi crane that enables to lift 630kg load 4,7m away from the crane.

The forward end of the vessel features wheelhouse including bridge with pantry, toilet and accommodation for 4 persons.

Powered by a Sisu 84CTIM  main engine, producing 302kW at 2100 rpm, vessel makes 14knots top speed.

With its new trawling equipment EMILI 007 will be newest vessel in Marine Institute fleet for fishrey research and monitoring on the lake Peipsi, in the east part of Estonia.
